The event
Building on last year’s successful event, the 2nd RefurBIM workshop aims to provide attendees with good practice examples of how BIM (Business Information Modelling) processes and emerging BIM technologies have been successfully implemented on refurbishment and regeneration projects. Drawing on presentations from experts who have implemented BIM, the workshop will also provide a forum for discussing the essential aspects of building refurbishment from demolition, planning and design to occupation, with a view to further enhancing the BIM process. The workshop encourages the active participation of architects, clients, consultants and contractors involved in building alterations and refurbishments. The focus will be on non-domestic projects, but anyone engaged in refurbishment projects and looking to implement BIM in this process is welcome to attend.
