The event itself
This event is part of a series of national events ran by Climate UK in partnership with DECC, exploring how local authorities can be supported and take positive and proactive action on renewable energy, in the context of localism and the National Planning and Policy Framework.
The event will be focussed on the costs, benefits, impacts and opportunities of renewable energy, and how it fits with local authority strategic plans.
There will be policy updates from Government, as well as sessions on community benefits, planning for renewable and local case studies.
Speakers will include:
- DECC
- RSPB
- RenewableUK
There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion, with questions and feedback.
