Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce
The Event
With rising energy costs and generous grants available for business to invest in renewable energy systems, now is a good time to consider if technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, solar thermal, biomass and electric vehicles could work for your business.
Caplor are a third generation family business based in Herefordshire who have embraced almost the full suite of renewable energy systems available. Come and see these systems in operation and hear from Caplor on the day to day practical and business implications of low carbon energy generation including the most recent installation of a battery array and electric vehicle charger to maximise their use of home grown green energy, supported by a 40% BEEP grant.
After enjoying some refreshments and coffee, delegates will be welcomed by Gareth Williams, Managing Director, at Caplor before splitting into two groups to be taken on a tour of the premises.
Following the tour, guests will then hear from BEEP and the Marches Renewable Energy Project – who are on hand to discuss how businesses can access money available to support energy and resource efficiency projects.
The Sustainability Forum is a series of free events aimed at helping businesses draw upon good practice from industry experts and local businesses to help promote sustainable business practices, particularly focusing on resource efficiency.
