Organisers

This conference is being held in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and MetNet, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The event

The conference will be a showcase of business resource efficiency, featuring great local and national examples, inspirational speakers and supplier exhibitions. Key Note Speaker: Peter Braithwaite (Chair of Sustainability West Midlands), discussing his work within the West Midlands and his role as Head of Sustainability for the London 2012 Olympic Games for CH2M Hill. Myles McCarthy, Director of Implementation at The Carbon Trust will be outlining the national overview, the cost saving opportunities for businesses, barriers to implementation and ways to practically improve your business resource efficiency to save money. Your chance to discuss resource efficiency with businesses and advisors already taking proactive steps, including the Manufacturing Advisory Service, Thomas Vale Construction, Pro Enviro Ltd and local Worcestershire businesses. There will be networking opportunities for businesses and resource efficiency professionals within the metnet environmental supplier exhibition.
