The Event

The Plunkett Foundation is looking to support residents who might be interested in community ownership of their local pub where it has closed, is for sale or is in danger of being lost. We’re also able to support communities who might want to set up a new pub in a vacant unit for example. At this event, you will be able to hear from national experts on community ownership of pubs, the Plunkett Foundation, and meet community groups who have already successfully saved their local pub for their communities. The event will focus on how to set up a community owned/run pub, what help is available to do it, and how community pubs become essential hubs ,once they are in community hands.
