The event
While Europe has set ambitious climate change targets, businesses, organisations and communities will need to innovate to meet these challenges. The transition to a low carbon economy requires an interdisciplinary approach, involving multiple actors. This free introductory course aims to support practitioners and decision-makers in the private, public and third sectors whether currently, or not, working within a low carbon role. It is designed;
- To provide a clear introduction to the low carbon agenda, transitions and why systems innovation is crucial.
- To unlock the transitions tool box and give participants an insight into the key methods that they can use to promote systems thinking and practice.
- As an interactive workshop, where participants will identify the challenges and barriers they face and work in groups to overcome them.
