The event

This event is aimed at supporting the health sector to understand how the implementation of sustainable travel initiatives can bring benefits to both the environment and communities, thinking about staff, patients, visitors and local residents. Our speakers will include:

• Anna Bright (SWM): Analysis from the latest Roadmap to 2030 Monitoring
• Fran Silcocks (Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust) and Chris Coyle (Bicycle Mayor of Birmingham) : Award winning sustainable travel plans
• Owain Simpson (University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust): Clean Air Hospital Framework Evaluation
• Dharel Patel and David Gallagher (National Express West Midlands): Supporting NHS Trusts to shift towards a more sustainable travel operation

The workshop will include the opportunity for Q&A with the speakers, and a discussion session exploring travel challenges within your organisation.
