Aims
- Launch the West Midlands Low Carbon Investment Prospectus – providing a product to help us raise the profile of our collective strengths and opportunities to investors.
- Showcase good practice and progress on the West Midlands sustainability priorities.
- Provide a networking opportunity for individuals and organisations.
Join us as we consider the value of investing for a green future in economically hard times and show case the best examples of breakthrough performance in the West Midlands.
This year the event will have an emphasis on delivery in a time of challenge and how to maximise the role of Local Enterprise Partnerships.
We will be showcasing over 20 award winning examples across the sustainability priorities of green jobs and skills, energy, waste, buildings, transport, procurement, and green space. These range from multi-million pound investment in research and new technology to simple driver training and office management resulting in significant bottom line savings.
We will be launching a West Midlands Low Carbon Investment Prospectus which will help us all raise the profile of our collective strengths and opportunities to investors.
