The event
Join us as we take a forward look at the West Midlands in 2050 and showcase the regional good practice that’s making change happen.
We will be joined by eminent environmentalist and broadcaster Jonathon Porritt, a renowned figure in the world of sustainable development for the last 40 years. Jonathon will be giving an overview of where we could be in 2050, as well as what the West Midlands should be focusing on for the journey.
Delegates will have the opportunity to engage with the progress SWM and partners have made over the last year and question expert panellists on how we can secure a more sustainable future for the West Midlands. As ever, we will be looking at good practice case studies from across the region and will offer exclusive networking opportunities with other high profile decision makers from cross-sector organisations.
Aims
- Identify the next steps needed to achieve a sustainable region in 2050
- Showcase good practice and progress on the West Midlands 2020 sustainability priorities
- Provide an exclusive networking opportunity for individuals and organisations
