Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) SUSTAINABILITY FORUM The shift to electric cars and vans is starting to gather pace, but what about heavier vehicles? And how can classic cars continue to be enjoyed with a low carbon powertrain? Two industry speakers share their insight into delivering low carbon industrial and classic vehicles. The Sustainability Forum is a series of free events aimed at helping businesses draw upon good practice from industry experts and local businesses to help promote sustainable business practices, particularly focusing on resource efficiency. Coffee Pastries and Cakes 9:50-10:00  Welcome & Chamber update from Robert Elliot, Director of Business Engagement & Development, HWCC 10:00-10:15  Simon Helmer, Energy & Resource Efficiency Advisor, Business Energy Efficiency Programme, HWCC 10:15 – 10:45 Simon Hyde, Managing Director – FAUN Zoeller Ltd (FZUK) Simon Hyde will explore how to ‘hit the reset button’ when it comes to the environment, local transport, the waste strategy and the funding constraints for the public sector and how hydrogen and battery powered fleets can make a big difference to tackling climate change and improving local air quality. 10:45 – 11.15 David Lorenz, Founder – Lunaz Lunaz converts vehicles to zero emissions powertrains, ranging from classic cars to heavy goods & industrial vehicles. David will talk about the process of converting classic cars operate with low carbon technologies. 11.15 – 11.30 Q and A Panel session to discuss the wide ranging topic of sustainability, discussions around COP26, and ways in which we can all share best practice. 11:30 end of sessions, networking and depart.
