The event
Defra is inviting stakeholders to an EU LIFE Programme information day dedicated to the new Climate Action sub-theme. This session will provide an introduction to the programme and, in particular the Climate Action sub-theme. Successful applicants of the funding programme will share their experiences and provide examples of funded projects, and delegates will have the opportunity to find out about sources of further information and the support available in the UK. The session will also offer the opportunity to discuss the Climate Action sub-programme in the context of government priorities on adaptation and mitigation and to network with a range of people interested in developing LIFE climate-action bids.
Audience
It is primarily aimed at organisations that are new to the funding programme with little or no knowledge of the rules and application procedure, but those with some LIFE experience and who are interested in finding out more about the Climate Action sub-programme specifically are also welcome.
