Marches LEP and Centre for Sustainable Energy The event This conference brings together business, local government and community groups, who all play important but differing roles accelerating the clean energy and low carbon economy transition in the West Midlands. A series of workshops and presentations will run throughout the day, relating to local and neighbourhood planning, local governance and opportunities for business growth in the low carbon sector. The day is divided into morning and afternoon sessions – attendees may register for an individual session or the full day. The morning session is aimed at local planning officers and neighbourhood plan steering group members, while the afternoon is aimed at industry and business stakeholders, and will explore opportunities identified by the Midlands Energy Hub and Local Industrial Strategy. This session will be facilitated by SWM. The morning session will include the following presentations followed by a Q&A with all presenters. This event will feature the launch of Marches Energy Strategy, that Sustainability West Midlands helped develop.
