The event
Venturefest West Midlandsis a free, one-day event aimed at supporting business growth through innovation. It will bring together entrepreneurs, innovators and investors with specific innovation expertise. VenturefestWM will have a packed programme full with inspiring keynote speakers, interactive workshop sessions delivered by our expert partners.
The day offers networking opportunities along with a forum for presenting practical advice, stimulating ideas and funding options to entrepreneurs and start-ups particularly in the science, knowledge and technology fields.
Running alongside Venturefest West Midlands is Pitchfest, a pitching competition for business owners, which presents a unique opportunity for businesses to raise their profile both in the West Midlands and in front of a national audience of investors. Business owners are invited to present their ideas in a pitch for investment and stand a chance of winning one of several awards.
SWM and our member, Climate-KIC, will be talking ‘Low Carbon Innovation through Partnership’ with ES Catapult in Room 2 at 15:15 on the day. Please come along and join in the discussions.
