The Event

Continuing with the Smart Rural theme, the Centre for Research into Environmental Science and Technology (CREST), is excited to announce this virtual networking and knowledge sharing event. The aim of this event is to encourage a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges that water provides for rural areas. This will include increasing resilience towards natural events such as flooding and drought through the use of smart infrastructure. In collaboration with Shrewsbury Water Forum, CREST want to share what is happening in Shropshire and promote the expertise they have available here, whilst sharing best practise from further afield.
