The event
The Heat Network Regulations has introduced new legal requirements for heat network suppliers, including social landlords, about installing meters for monitoring and billing usage. One of the key elements of the new directive is ensuring that those people who are directly using energy can see what they are using and take steps to reduce their usage. This mean that by by December 2016, social landlords may have to provide the installation of meters to residents. Heat meters will provide ideal, cost effective and fair billing solution for landlords and residents alike. They will also lead to environmental improvements, which are good for all of us. Join this timely webinar and get:
- an update on the latest news on Heat Meter regulations including the “viability test”,
- results from a government funded trial on extra useful data social landlords can get from heat meter billing information,
- one association’s experience from bringing meter billing in-house.
- Chris Smith, Technical Manager, National Measurement and Regulation Office.
- Richard Lupo, Senior Sustainability Consultant, Sustainable Homes.
