The path to zero carbon heat report, to be released on July 20th by the Net-Zero Infrastructure Industry Coalition, outlines three pathways to decarbonising heat: electrification, hydrogen and hybrid. Each has its own infrastructure challenges, from generation through to the end-user. The report explores the key activities and milestones required for each and highlights a series of critical activities that must be undertaken over the next 5 years if the UK is to meet its heat decarbonisation goal. At this webinar, we will present an overview of the three decarbonisation pathways and the challenges and recommendations associated with each. It will feature speakers from Mott MacDonald, Energy Systems Catapult, Delta-EE, and Engie.
