The Event

This will show the opportunity to deliver, with multiple benefits locally, the UK aim for a 500% increase in solar power within a decade contributing to the 2030 Climate Emergency.

From the initial solar mapping, this project demonstrates the potential for 12 million solar panels on large south facing and flat roofs as well as car parks. This could be even greater by adding homes and others such as solar farms on land and water.
