The Event
January’s West Midlands Net Zero Business Pledge online session will be focusing on how to talk about sustainability; whether that be internally, through your Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) comms, or engaging your supply chain to address scope 3 emissions.
SWM associate Amanda Campbell and a representative from decking company Millboard will be sharing the work they have been doing on internal and external stakeholder engagement on sustainability which has resulted in a transformative shift in the company. We will also be welcoming Pledged business Whistle PR to share how organisations can use ESG communications.
This session will be on zoom, lasting an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the level of discussion!
Who is this event for?
Any organisation who is eligible to sign up to the pledge (operates in the WMCA area as per this page) can attend this event for free. All sizes, sectors and industries are welcome and can benefit from networking with and learning from likeminded businesses.
Further information
Occurring once every two months, the pledge sessions are a chance for updates and learning in the net zero space, and peer-to-peer learning between pledged businesses. We hope you can use this time to connect and discuss your own approaches to net zero, as well as the successes and challenges associated with this agenda. Sustainability West Midlands will be on hand with help and guidance alongside other organisations and existing pledgers.
