The Event
Managing the soaring cost of energy, whilst growing in a clean and sustainable way are increasingly pivotal parts of running any business. With the ongoing impact of climate change and the escalating energy prices, businesses are struggling to find new ways to reduce the cost of energy and manage their expenses, all while trying reach the UK’s Net Zero target (2050).
There are many aspects to saving energy and becoming more sustainable. Changing packaging, increasing the use of technology, and using alternative materials and manufacturers are just the beginning. To make a long-term impact, businesses need expert support, funding and strategies to truly save energy and operate efficiently.
About the Grant:
As a part of the Clean Growth Programme, the GBSLEP Growth Hub has launched the Energy Saving and Efficiency Grant. This grant will support SMEs to fund an expert consultant to analyse their business, who will then produce a tailored report with practical steps to reduce the cost of energy and increase efficiency.
The aim of the grant is to provide businesses with subsidised access to expert consultants, and explore how businesses can decouple resources from their processes, products and services, generate clean growth and potentially look at how businesses can pivot towards supporting the transition to a zero-carbon economy.
Benefits of the Grant:
