The event
A workshop on the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP).
The SEP sets out the vision, objectives, strategy and actions that will improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works here by 2030. It sets the context for the WMCA’s devolution agreement with government and explains how devolved powers and resources will be used. It also sets the scene for subsequent devolution agreements with this and future governments.
Cllr Bob Sleigh, Leader of the Council, will provide a presentation about the WMCA and the SEP. He is eager to discuss with VCS representatives how this will work and how organisations can get involved in the SEP priorities.
