The event
The event provides a unique opportunity for 11 to 19 year olds to explore, with business, the growing opportunities in a low carbon, resilient future. Overall the event will enhance the students with an:
- Understanding of the evolving low carbon economy.
- Ability to recognise that every job has the potential to contribute to enhanced sustainability.
- Awareness of the enterprising and exciting opportunities that are open to them and appropriate qualifications and skills, from apprenticeships through to PhD’s.
- Activities are suitable for all curriculum subjects and are designed to build personal, social and life skills.
