SWM members Climate X have released the following announcement:
When Kamil and I started this journey, c.18 months ago, we did so because we saw an urgent need to connect the worlds of climate science and financial systems. We began to draw the line that connects them both. That conduit and our vision to deliver location specific physical risk data tied with real world impacts to asset valuation, eventually became our company, Climate X.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Climate X has closed an oversubscribed pre-seed investment round of £1.1M, led by Pale Blue Dot. This marks a significant step forward for the company and enables us to accelerate delivery of our climate adaptation data and analytics, unlocking a path towards a more climate-resilient future for everyone on this planet.
