The Centre for Sustainable Energy is offering £100,000 to community groups across Birmingham to support citywide low carbon sustainability projects. Applications open 7 June and projects can focus on a wide range of areas, including: behaviour change, air pollution, transport, energy and health. Successful projects will support Birmingham’s net zero carbon targets by using data from CSE’s free pioneering programme, 3DHub in order to understand the needs of communities by using localised data. The ten winning groups will receive £10,000 each to develop their low carbon projects. Speaking about the new funding, Bridget Newbury CSE project manager said: “Through this funding competition we’re looking for people with big ideas to create new ways to reduce carbon emissions across Birmingham.” For more information click here
