The DPD Eco Fund is funded by DPD’s circular economy initiative to protect the environment. The plastic shrink wrap used by DPD is broken down, and then recycled to create new plastic shrink wrap. DPD also re-use and recycle the wooden pallets used in our depots and the money generated from both these initiatives goes straight into our Eco Fund.
Anyone can apply for funding from the DPD Eco Fund, although community groups, educational facilities and start-up companies are encouraged to apply, with all applications needing to be of a green, ecological or sustainability nature, with the project benefiting the environment.
The Eco Fund has donated over £200,000 to worthy sustainable projects since it started in January 2020
