Climate Ed teaches Year 5 and 6 children about climate change and inspires them to take action.
Through their education programme, their aims are to:
- Increase understanding among children of climate change and what can be done to mitigate it.
- Inspire children and their families to take action to reduce their emissions.
- Reduce climate anxiety among young people.
- Improve dialogue and collaboration between adults and children about climate change.
The education programme consists of five one-hour workshops, combining drama, knowledge sharing, conversation and games. By the end of the programme children commit to taking some climate action in the family or community.
