They have been bringing people together through group music making activities since 2018. Currently running six weekly community music sessions for people of all backgrounds in Birmingham and Sandwell including orchestras, bands, singing sessions and groups for adults with learning disabilities.

They reach around 160 people with sessions each week and around 850 each year. They reach an additional 5,000 people each year with concerts, events and one-off workshops.

The organisation has 5 Trustees, 3 part time staff members as well as 12 dedicated volunteers.

On their membership with SWM, they say:

“We believe strongly in a zero carbon future that puts people first. Working closely with members of our community most in need including those with Learning Disabilities, people with experience of mental ill health and those at risk of loneliness and isolation, we are well connected with the needs and voices of people in Birmingham and Sandwell.”

Our primary contact is Rob Jones, Artistic Director.
