One Black Bear Ltd are an established advertising agency creating strategic and creative work for clients including Zeiss Vision, Lee Longlands, MedMin Healthcare and Eurocell. Increasingly, they are also working with brands in the sustainability space such as Triton Showers and Circular and Co.
They have won many awards for their work and have just renovated an old jewellery maker’s cottage in Birmingham’s JQ with sustainability at its heart.
A lot of One Black Bears marketing campaigns are geared towards behaviour change and getting people to make tweaks to their daily lives for the common good of the planet.
Their role regularly involves sharing and demonstrating research as to how companies and organisations are projecting themselves positively or otherwise in the quest for sustainable outcomes.
They educate and advise by getting to the heart of a companies’ activities and then devise effective communications platforms on their behalf, through advertising, design, branding, PR, social, research, digital or web.

For 8 years, we worked closely with National Express as they planned their comprehensive transition from diesel to hydrogen and electric powered buses and coaches. We also work regularly with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) to encourage the use of public transport and more active ways to get around such as cycling and walking. We could call on this vast, wide ranging experience and really add a lot to SWM as members.”
