The Air Ambulance Service

The Air Ambulance Service flies across the counties of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire & Rutland, covering 3,850 square miles.

The charity does not receive funding from the government or National Lottery for its daily missions, but relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from its communities and business.

They operate a reuse department offering multiple ways for businesses to support them and collaborate with their sustainability aims.

The Air Ambulance Service offers multiple services to reduce your carbon footprint. This includes clothing banks to support businesses and local communities to divert textiles from landfill, reducing the fast fashion culture.

They also offer a free data wiping service, which encourages reusing items rather than becoming the throw away society we are.

On their membership with SWM, they say:

“We would like to join Sustainability West Midlands to network with likeminded individuals and businesses, to share best practice and ideas.”

Our primary contact is Liz Kelly, Reuse Business Support Manager.
