Sustainability is of prime interest to our members who are constantly innovating. This ranges from making garden furniture from 100% UK waste to developing rice milling machines that use 90% less energy and can be solely solar powered.
All businesses must seek sustainable solutions with manufacturing, engineering and technology companies leading the way whether this is developing machines and processes which use less energy, reducing a product’s carbon footprint, decreasing pollution or recycling and minimising waste material.
We run the Innovation Awards every September with a specific award for the Sustainable Innovation of the Year to recognise, celebrate and reward the vital work being done in this area.
