Worcester City Council’s work is focused on the city of Worcester, providing services to the 100,000 residents and 3,000 businesses based here. The Council’s functions include environmental operations, strategic housing, economic development and planning, community services and museums. Sustainability West Midlands have proven their leadership on environmental and social sustainability and their successful networks demonstrate the value of partnership working. Worcester City Council is committed to transitioning Worcester to becoming carbon neutral by 2030. This ambitious target will only be achievable with support and strong cross sector partnerships.
