Zero Carbon Shropshire brings together Shropshire businesses and communities to reduce the carbon footprint of us all.
In the last year the group has produced their own ‘Zero Carbon’ plan, conducted a study of renewable energy opportunities in Shropshire, engaged with businesses in area such as carbon literacy training and assessing their footprint.
They see this ‘federated’ approach as essential; no one organisation can do it all, but together it can be done.
“Much of our approach aligns with that adopted by SWM, so we feel there is clear benefit to both parties from our membership.”
