2013 Ashden Awards – call for entries

Are you breaking new ground in increasing the poor’s access to energy? Are you helping people save energy or generating renewable forms of energy? Are you encouraging more sustainable forms of living, working or travelling? If so, we want to hear from you!

Entry for our Awards is free, with each winner receiving from £5,000 to £40,000. But winning an Ashden Award is about more than the prize money. If you are successful we’ll also support you to develop your work further, build your profile and gain access to new networks.

What are we looking for?

For our UK and International Awards we want to hear from sustainable energy pioneers making progress in transforming peoples’ lives through sustainable energy, saving energy, generating renewable energy or promoting behaviour change.

For our Eurostar Ashden Award for Sustainable Travel we are looking for schemes that are encouraging more sustainable forms of travel in Belgium, France or the UK.

If you’d like to apply for our Schools Award you will need to demonstrate how you are embedding sustainability into your buildings and culture.

Closing dates for applications

International Award: 23 October

UK and Sustainable Travel Awards: 30 October

Schools Award: 23 November
