BECCI and Accord Group challenge industry with £250k to develop Smart Grid opportunities

SWM members BECCI and Accord Group have teamed up to organise the ‘Smart Grid Challenge’. The Challenge focuses on ways to reduce average and peak electrical demands for homes.  £250k has been allocated to fund work on 50 properties over the next 12 months. BECCI and Accord Group are looking for leading innovative Smart Grid businesses in the West Midlands. Do you have a product or service that will meet The Challenge? West Midlands’ businesses with the best ideas will be invited into detailed discussions with Accord Group for their Smart Grid investment programme. University of Wolverhampton and BECCI will offer development support to leading businesses and provide exhibition opportunities. Shortlisted business will be invited to present to a panel from Accord Group/BECCI.
