BECCI & whg innovative approach to energy reduction

On Wednesday, 29 June, SWM member and the University of Wolverhampton’s BECCI (Built Environment Climate Change Innovations) project will team up with whg, a provider of mixed tenure housing in the Midlands, to deliver an Energy Reduction Challenge. Neil Young BECCI Knowledge Transfer Manager and whg challenge project lead explained “We carried out a 6 week investigation that revealed opportunities to radically reduce the energy use of one of whg’s large offices. We followed this up with an extensive selection process to select 7 local SME’s who had come up with innovative energy saving ideas to present to the high level panel at whg.” Download the full BECCI & whg press release 15.6.16.
