Birmingham and Black Country Living Landscape – Proposed Nature Improvement Area

Earlier this year, DEFRA announced a competition to establish 12 Nature Improvement Areas across England.

A partnership of over forty organisations across Birmingham and the Black Country has come together with an exciting proposal for the conurbation. Our initial application was one of twenty selected from an initial 76 entries to go on to stage two.

We submitted a Stage Two Business Plan for the proposals.

More details of the Birmingham and Black Country Living Landscape – Nature Improvement Area can be found on the website where you can download a copy of the business plan or follow a link to a poll where you can express your support for the proposal.

If your organisation is not already part of the partnership, but is interested in being involved in the NIA as a full partner or simply as a supporter, please let Neil Wyatt know and he will get in touch with you with more details on how you can get involved.
