Birmingham based organisations asked to support Sustainable Cities Tournament

The Sustainable Cities Tournament, launching in November 2020 will be a high profile competition between UK cities including Birmingham.  Individuals back their city by earning points through positive actions across mobility, food, energy, recycling and consumption. These actions are automatically detected by the Greengame app.

Greengame is a tech for good start up that works with cities and businesses to incentivise sustainable behaviour, by combining automated activity detection, gamification and behavioural economics.

With the climate crisis, air quality and healthy living all incredibly relevant in a C-19 context, this is an opportunity to harness  the potential for a ‘new normal’ and build momentum across the City to achieve collective positive impact.

What are organisations that sign up committing to?

The main ask is the promotion of the Greengame app and the tournament. In the lead up and during the competition period, encouraging individuals to download the Greengame app and support Birmingham through positive actions.
