Birmingham City Council seeks supplier input to help energy efficiency innovation

As part of the Smart Procurement European Alliance (SPEA) project,  BRE (The Building Research Establishment) on behalf of Birmingham City Council are conducting an ‘Innovative Energy Technologies Market Consultation‘ survey. The survey aims to encourage the procurement of innovative solutions in the area of energy efficiency in public buildings.

The survey is in two parts. Part 1 asks for information about your company and the innovative products/technologies you supply.  The information provided will not be used to evaluate respondent companies and their products /technologies but will be stored and analysed and used by Birmingham City Council to enable them to understand the market and to contact companies with invitations to tender on actual projects in the future. We appreciate that in the case of innovative technologies, not all the information requested will be available as yet. If this is the case, please leave the question blank and explain in the comments box at the end of the form.

Part 2 of the questionnaire asks you for your views on the procurement of innovative technologies in the public sector. The information you give in Part 2 will be kept separate from Part 1 and will only be reported as aggregated, anonymised data to BCC.

The survey closes on 10 October 2013.
