On the evening of Wednesday 29 July, 150 invited guests – including some SWM members were fortunate to hear Ed Miliband continue the roadshow on ‘Building Britain’s Future. At the beginning of the evening we listened to four presentations from Advantage West Midlands, ‘Leaf log’ director Peter Morrison, Friends of the Earth who focused on the contribution of the voluntary and community sector and Jericho housing a registered charity that helps the most disadvantaged to overcome social problems and get back into employment. Ed Miliband also answered questions on a wide variety of topics in a 45 minute question and answer session.
