Aston Business School is seeking to appoint a Business Engagement Manager to work on an exciting low carbon project supporting small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to reduce their carbon footprint and become more energy efficient. This role is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Supporting SMEs in the Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP, the role will involve recruiting businesses onto the project, providing direct support to SME owners-managers by undertaking energy and resource efficiency audits, and identifying technical solutions to enable energy and carbon savings to be realised. You will be analytical and able to work with senior academics in finding creative solutions to reducing energy usage. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in manufacturing and will be experienced in working with SMEs to help them in the reduction of their carbon and GHG emissions. The postholder will also have experience of grant funded projects as well as organising and delivering workshops/webinars. Closing date for applications is 12 November!
