The CIP has various business support and funding opportunities for climate innovators in 2023.
Supported by HSBC UK and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the University of Birmingham Climate Innovation Platform (CIP) is delivering a series of business development opportunities to support businesses committed to driving energy technology innovation.
Based at Tyseley Energy Park, within Birmingham’s Green Energy and Innovation Quarter, CIP offers businesses on any of their support programmes the opportunity to access funding, incubation support/space and join a growing network of cleantech innovators.
The following three opportunities are now available:
- Climate Innovation Fund. Apply by 10 February 2023
- Climate Innovation Platform – Springboard. Apply by 10 February 2023
- Climate Innovation Platform – Cohort 3. Apply by 31 March 2023
*Applicants to the Climate Innovation Fund and Climate Innovation Platform – Springboard programme must be a SME (Small and Medium Size Enterprise) based in the Greater Birmingham Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) more developed area (most postcodes in the Birmingham, Solihull, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest Districts).
