The Commonwealth Games are coming to the region this summer between 28th July and 8th August. It will be the biggest multi-sport event held in England since the London 2012 Olympic Games and the largest event ever to be held in the West Midlands. It’s an event for everyone, and the region will welcome over a million visitors during the Games, with people from across the country travelling to the West Midlands. There will be more people travelling on the roads and public transport network. To manage the increased demand for travel over this period, Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) are working with local businesses and residents to help keep them informed and help them plan ahead.
