As part of their development LWM has identified the need for support in core admin and communications duties, both amplifying what they do and increasing their collective capacity to develop ideas. Salary: £18,000 pro rata Working hours: 7.5 hours per week, 2 year contract Job Description: The role purpose is to manage LWM’s administration and to develop a communications strategy to help LWM increase its profile and link more widely with others. You will be enthusiastic about fairer, more decentralised and less unequal economics, and the role localisation can play within that. You will be keen to use your skills to help us to communicate this as well as providing organised administrative support. Duties include:
- Maintain LWM’s social media and communications profile
- Improve and update the website
- Develop a social media/comms strategy in conjunction with coordinators
- Seek & take up promotional opportunities eg social media, blog posts, conventional media
- Actively seek engagement with a wide variety of ‘audiences’
- Research potential funders; monitor for funding and tender opportunities
- Help identify LWM’s Data Protection Act requirements and develop and implement the necessary data management processes
- Negotiate dates and organise venues for meetings
