Community Project funding 2018 – Grow Wild

Grow Wild is awarding funding of £2,000 or £4,000 to groups and projects which focus on UK native wildflowers, plants and/or fungi, highlighting the importance of these species for the environment, and for quality of life.

The project should engage at least one of these groups: Young people aged 12-18, students and young people aged 18-25, people living in urban areas, people experiencing hardship and reduced access to services or adults that are less engaged with their community and environmental activities.

You are eligible to apply if you are a voluntary, youth or community group, which is constituted, not-for-profit or charitable.

Download the guidance document for everything you need to know about the process of applying for Grow Wild community project funding. If your group or organisation is eligible, you will need to contact your local Grow Wild Engagement Manager to discuss your proposal and request the online application form.

Applications must be submitted by midday on 15 January 2018. You will be notified by 27 February 2018 if your group or organisation has not been shortlisted. All shortlisted applicants will be notified if they have been awarded funding by 23 February 2018. Projects will begin delivery in March 2018 and will be required to finish by October 2018.
