Local Enterprises Partnerships report

Vince Cable and Eric Pickles invite you to work with the Government to help strengthen local economies. The Coalition Government is committed to reforming our system of sub-national economic development by enabling councils and business to replace the existing Regional Development Agencies. They invite local groups of councils and business leaders to come together to consider how you wish to form local enterprise partnerships.

Regional Growth Fund report

To encourage private sector enterprise, including social enterprise, and capacity, and in doing so create opportunities for people and places to adjust to reductions in public spending, it was announced that Government will create a Regional Growth Fund in 2011/12 and 2012/13 worth £1bn.

To help them to design the Regional Growth Fund in such a way that will best meet the needs of local areas and communities they have published this paper, seeking your views.
