Vacancy: Coordinator (jobshare) Localise West Midlands Salary:
£24,757 pro rata Hours: 22.5 hours per week (negotiable) Location: Digbeth, Birmingham Deadline: 12 noon on Monday 25 November 2019 You will be passionate and committed to fairer, more decentralised and less unequal economics, and to the role localisation can play within that. You will be keen to help to create an ongoing, exciting role leading an organisation that crucially bridges the gap between community and mainstream economics. LWM works towards social justice and sustainability through localising and decentralising our economy. We do this by bringing people together to explore ideas and take action, and by research and consultancy. LWM has a strong track record on this and as part of our development we are seeking someone to share the role of coordinator. The coordinator is our lead role, responsible for strategy, development and delivery, reporting to our board and working closely with our associates and partners. You will be jointly responsible for delivering the third phase of our ground-breaking Localising Prosperity project, funded by Barrow Cadbury Trust, as well as building on recent work on inclusive growth in the West Midlands. You will be able to draw on the wide-ranging expertise of the Board and stakeholders to develop strategies for LWM to thrive over the longer term. After the initial fixed term to August 2020, the length and remuneration of the post will depend on the efforts of yourself and your fellow coordinator.
