The Government has announced various measures to help minimise the impact of COVID-19 on small businesses.
Some of these measures include:
- Statutory sick pay relief package for SMEs
- Grant funding for those in receipt of business rates relief
- A 12 month business rates holiday for retail, hospitality and leisure businesses
- Loans of up to £5m for SMEs via the British Business Bank
- Grant funding for businesses with rateable property from £15k – £51k
- New lending facility from the Bank of England to support liquidity
- HMRC Time to Pay Scheme (helpline number listed below)
