
The National Statistics publication provides the latest estimates of carbon dioxide emissions for Local Authority (LA) areas for 2005-2014. The report explains the background to the estimates, summarises the key results, and discusses some of the issues which need to be considered when using the data. West Midlands statistics extracted from the report are:
- End-user carbon dioxide emissions per capita – Total 6.1, Change from previous year -9%
- End-user carbon dioxide emissions 2005 and 2014 – Per capita (tCO2) 6.1, Percentage change between 2005 and 2014 total emissions -22%
