EnTRESS Graduate Project Intern – Job Opportunity

Environmental Technologies and Resource Efficiency Support Service (EnTRESS). This post is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) An exciting developmental opportunity has arisen to join the award winning built environment team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. Acknowledged as one of the largest universities in the UK, with 23,000 students, the University holds an excellent quality teaching profile, with a strong performance in third stream income generation and a world class research excellence profile. The university holds a strong track record of working with regional, national and international businesses, and this project is part of a collective group of ERDF projects that supports business growth across the Black Country and beyond. ENTRESS is a £1.2 million ERDF contract which will be managed within the School of Built Environment. It aims to support the development of 90 SMEs in the Black Country by offering expert advice to grow their businesses through specialist workshops, individual support, product assessment, technology showcases and industrial challenges – all linked to environmental technologies. The role is to support the Project Director, Project Manager and the wider EnTRESS team with the delivery of project outcomes and high-quality customer service to beneficiaries of EnTRESS support. Alongside general project responsibilities the role will assist in the organisation and delivery of a number of workshops and events along with marketing and promotion of EnTRESS and its activities. This includes all aspects of marketing such as production of marketing materials, market research, event management, database management and social media.
