Flood and Coast Conference – The Next Generation Workshop

The Next Generation Workshop is a one-day event that takes place annually as part of Flood & Coast Conference, widely regarded as the sector’s headline event. The workshop is specifically geared towards FCERM students, researchers and early career professionals and aims to inspire delegates and equip them with the skills and networks required to advance their careers.

We are currently looking for committee members to help organise next year’s event, which will likely take place in June 2020. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can help us build on last year’s success and take the event to the next level in pushing the boundaries of discourse and collaboration around FCERM.

The committee will be comprised of people from organisations across the sector, and is a fantastic development and networking opportunity. You will have a unique opportunity to work and share ideas with industry leading researchers, professionals and industry experts, develop a programme of exciting talks and activities, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management, leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication, amongst others.

Booking and More Information

The only criteria for applying is that you must have less than 5 years’ professional experience in the FCERM sector.
