Co-op Midcounties have launched a Food Bank Fund to supporting 40 food bank partner organisations across their trading areas. Having listened to feedback from a number of food bank partners organisations and gained insight from across the broader co-operative movement, we have been made aware that in light of the coronavirus outbreak a number of food banks are facing reduced funds and reduced access to products to support their beneficiaries at this time. Therefore, they have launched our Food Bank Fund for their food bank partner organisations to help provide support at this time. Our Society had donated £25,000 to launch the fund, and are inviting anyone who wants to donate to this fund to do so by clicking here.
